We strive to provide the community of Point Roberts with a choice Art Center that otherwise can only be found in a large community. At Christina Lake Fine Arts, our mission is to create a happy space for making art. We believe given the right opportunity, that individual can unlock the artist hidden inside of us. We offer our skills acquired during decades of working and teaching in art. We are aiming to be a source of inspiration to our guests. Our Art Center welcomes you to participate and visit often.
Our Story
How We Got Here
Brian and I came from Vancouver Island in June 2017. We decided to open a new gallery in Vancouver on Granville and Seventh. Brian also has an art gallery in Black Creek in the Comox Valley. Ian Graham, long time associate of Brian's is doing a great job running the gallery there. I, Christina Lake, am a permanent resident in the United States, determined to become a dual citizen. After taking a few months to assess the art needs of this community I decided to create an outlet of our combined artistic talents in here in Point Roberts. We plan on collaborating with locals to create murals and other public art (paint hydrants!) to make Point Roberts famous for being colourful and attractive to residents and tourists alike.Â
We work hard to help cultivate the inner artist in all of our students and guests who come into our Art Center. We offer workshops and classes in order to inspire and enhance everyone’s creative spark and spirit.
